THE NEED
Raw Beauty Talks began in 2014 as an interview series featuring women without make-up or photo editing, with a goal of starting a global conversation about beauty, confidence and self love. Today, the company has evolved into a multi-faceted organization with both for-profit and nonprofit divisions. Having gained a much better understanding of their target market, they felt the need for a new logo design and visual identity.
THE SOLUTION
The new brand is clean and minimalist. It conveys both strength and soft femininity. By using only the bare minimum of shapes for legibility, this logo communicates stripping down and raw vulnerability. The watercolours used in the supplementary graphics are bold and explosive, inspired by the concept of a breakthrough. Rawbeautytalks.com was built on a WordPress theme, with key customizations and original design elements.
